Bamboo Lanturns vary in length, width, weight and markings because bamboo boasts a big variety. Width varies approx. 100mm to 120mm and height approx. 25cm to 45cm. Bamboo Lanturns have been dip varnished in a sealent type varnish inside and outside. The solvent used is Lacour thinners and after three coats the bamboo is insect proof. The varnish is however flammable and care must be taken not to expose lanturn to direct sunlight or fire. Bamboo Lanturns are ideal when used where soft lighting is needed like above a dinner table or entrance hall light or under a thatch roof eg braai lapa. A bayonet fitting is included plus 5 metre twin flex 5 amp cord. No bulb is included. Choose your own colour. Warm white 11 whatts to 14 whatts is best. Red 14 watt also looks great. Adjust the knott in cord to obtain desired vertical position of bulb within lanturn. Buyers must be based in South Africa.
