Bambu Lab PETG-CF is a high-performance composite filament made by combining PETG with finely chopped carbon fiber. This mix delivers greater stiffness, better impact resistance, and a premium gloss finish with a distinctive carbon-fiber texture.

Key Features

Usage & Print Settings

• Nozzle Compatibility: Use hardened steel nozzles (0.4 mm, 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm). Avoid 0.2 mm or stainless-steel nozzles. 
• Drying Requirements: Dry filament at ~ 65°C for about 8 hours before printing.
• Printing Temperature: 240 °C — 270 °C. 
• Bed Temperature: 65 °C — 75 °C (apply glue if needed for bed adhesion).
• Print Speed: Recommended < 200 mm/s for optimal quality. 
• Storage: Keep in a dry container with desiccant; moisture degrades performance.
• Build Plate Compatibility: Works well on Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, or Textured PEI.

User Notes / Tips

• Because of the carbon fiber content, the filament is slightly abrasive; use a hardened nozzle to minimize wear. 
• Dry filament thoroughly before printing — moisture affects PETG-CF dramatically. 
• Use moderate fan speeds (0—40%) when printing to balance layer adhesion and surface finish. 
• For shinier prints, try printing at lower speed and higher nozzle temperature.
