• Black Walnut — deep, dark brown
• Rosewood — warm reddish-brown
• Clay Brown — earthy medium brown
• Classic Birch — soft, light birch tone
• White Oak — pale, natural wood tone
• Ochre Yellow — warm golden-yellow wood shade

Performance & Print Settings

• Recommended Nozzle Temperature: 190 °C — 240 °C 

• Bed Temperature: 35 °C — 45 °C (use glue for better adhesion) 

• Print Speed: Up to 250 mm/s is supported. 

• Nozzle Compatibility: Use 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm hardened steel nozzles. Avoid 0.2 mm nozzles because of the wood content. 

• Drying & Storage:

  • Dry before use: recommended 55 °C for 8 hours in a drying oven. 

  • Store in a sealed container with desiccant or use AMS (Automatic Material System). 

• Moisture Sensitivity: The wood powder increases moisture absorption compared to regular PLA — proper drying and storage are important.

User Experience & Notes

• During printing, PLA Wood emits a mild, natural wood aroma, thanks to the wood powder. 
• Because of the wood content, you may see slight color variations between spools or as you print — this is part of its natural aesthetic. 
• When printed, the matte, grainy texture helps disguise layer lines, giving a more organic and realistic wood-look surface. 

Compatibility & Use Cases

• Build Plates: Best used with Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI Plate, or Textured PEI Plate. 
• Glue: Use Bambu Liquid Glue for good bed adhesion.
• AMS & AMS Lite Compatible: Yes — filament spool has RFID for smart printing systems. 
• Not Recommended For: Ultra-fine nozzles (0.2 mm), due to wood particles. 
• Perfect For: Decorative objects, figurines, coasters, wooden props, architectural models, or anything where a natural wood texture is desirable.
