Bambusa Bambos "Thorny Bamboo" Plants for Sale

Bambusa bambos - is a Giant variety, with woody "spikelets" on the nodes and sharp pin-like protrusions on the ends of the culm sheaths.

Bambos is an ideal fence plant, as it is virtually impenetrable once semi mature (3-5yrs) and wont let anyone through. Ideal for planting on farms along fences, or in town where the fence is weak and costly walls are not an option. Animal kraals could even be planted with this variety.

Ideal for large gardens, plots/ farms, "green screens" along fences as a hedge, along animal kraals etc..

A young plant of est 1yr old is being sold here, 3-4 stems, est 1m tall (prior to trimming).

Plants are trimmed shorter (30-40cm), roots are carefully wrapped in moist packaging materials, sealed, then plants are packaged in boxes and sealed. They can remain in these boxes for 3 weeks and still survive. Bamboo is an extremely tough plant.
