Bambusa multiplex is a compact variety with dense feathered leaves on thin straight culms that splay outwards from its base. The young culms are lime green, and turn a rich golden color as they mature. These are clumping bamboos, which can be used in any landscape without the need for being curbed or restrained. Culms normally grow to avg height of 3 - 5m within 2 years after planting.
Ideal for smaller gardens, "green screens" around pool pumps and as a hedge, along water features etc.
