Bambusa Vulgaris Vittata "Painted Bamboo" Plants for Sale

The beautifully striped culms of Bambusa vulgaris 'Vittata' are bright yellow, and randomly marked with narrow green stripes (or rarely light green with yellow stripes), and have an average height between 10-15 m. Internodes are 20- 30cm long, thick-walled, and have an average diameter of 5-8 cm. The type of striping on the culms is known to vary in different plants, or even within an individual plant. 

Ideal for medium to large gardens, "green screens" to cover unsightly walls or features, as a central feature near ponds of dams etc.

Plants are trimmed shorter (30-50cm), roots are carefully wrapped in moist materials, then plants are packaged in boxes and sealed. They can remain in these boxes for 3 weeks and still survive. Bamboo is an extremely tough plant.
