Bambusa Vulgaris waminii is a dwarf variety of the larger Buddha Belly bamboo, with fine elongated green leaves and beautiful thick green culms. The culms have swollen nodes, which resemble Buddha's belly. These are beautiful medium sized clumping bamboos, which can be used in any landscape without the need for being curbed or restrained. Buddha Belly bamboo also make great potted features for indoors or patios. Culms normally grow to avg height of 3 - 4.5m within 3 year after planting.

Ideal for smaller gardens, "green screens" around pool pumps and as a hedge, along water features etc.

***Cold and frost tolerant***

One plant of est 6-8 months old is being sold here, minimum 2 stems, est 0.5m tall before its trimmed for packaging.

Plants are trimmed shorter (30-40cm), roots are carefully wrapped in moist packaging materials, sealed, then plants are packaged in boxes and sealed. They can remain in these boxes for 3 weeks and still survive. Bamboo is an extremely tough plant.
