Mattel produced the Barbie Fashion Queen Doll from 1963-1964.

 

This Barbie comes in her original box containing her black wire stand, booklet and white plastic wig stand with 3 interchangeable wigs. Blonde, Brunette & Titan (red).

 

She has her original face, nail and head paint with no rub marks as well as an even tone body colour. She is marked on her rear buttocks with "Midge T.M./©1962 Barbie ®/©1958 by Mattel, Inc. patented"

 

She’s dressed in her original gold and white striped swimsuit. matching headscarf, blue headband and white open toe Japan heels. She wears reproduction ‘safe’ earrings to prevent green ear.

 

There are no melt marks on the doll, nose nips, green ear, chews or any damage. Melt marks are visible on the wig stand which is very common when the wigs are left in place for many years. 

 

There is minor wear to the front of her swimsuit. The box has fading, corner and edge wear, as well as minor creasing to the outside and liner. Tearing occurred to the inside of the box when she was originally removed by her arm tag. The box has been repaired on the inside and the Barbie placed in her original position. 0270 has been handwritten on the top and bottom of the box.

 

This is all original and in fantastic condition considering it’s over 50 years old from the early 1960's. Impossible to find here in its original box with all accessories and in excellent condition.
