Barker Ellis Silver Plated Pedestal Foot Bowl
with the Menorah Mark for 1912
This Barker Ellis silver on copper bowl / dish shows great workmanship. Every piece of Ellis Barker or Barker Bros. has superb workmanship on each piece. The border is styled wavy trim with gadroon and & king’s pattern style, almost clam shell like. The interior is beautifully embellished with scrolls, flowers and leaves. The bottom is plain and suitable for engraving. The EB menorah mark (1912) and Made in England is on the bottom of the base. Great for soap, sweets, nuts, etc. The pedestal foot is plain & rimmed / stepped. There is some minor pitting in the bottom (see pics) that would not show when the bowl has something in it.
