Barley Straw does not kill algae but inhibits its growth. NAI Barley Straw's action on controlling algae growth is dependent on oxygen rich water. It takes one to two weeks to begin its controlling action.

Barley Straw comes in complete and convenient packaging. Use string provided to attach bag to a stone ensuring that the bag will be fully submerged. Replace bag every 3 months.
