Sweet full flavor, with up to 5cm leaves. Italian variety for pesto and all types of cooking. Sweet Genovese Basil is the best flavored sweet basil from the Genoa region of Italy. So fragrant, it reminds you of summer!
For best results grow in a warm sheltered spot. Best times for planting are spring and summer. Plant in seedling trays (see our Plastic Seedling Trays) in a protected spot until large enough to plant out. Can be succesfully grown all year round in pots if you have a frost free area. Can even be kept indoors in winter. Pinch out flowering tops to prevent plants going to flower. Pick leaves and enjoy!
