The Cape Coin Heritage Set was issued by the Africana Commemorative Mint in 1978 comprising of 30 metallic replicas of foreign coins which circulated during the early days at the Cape of Good Hope.
Each coin weighs approx. 37 grams, is 45 mm in diameter and struck in gilded sterling silver (.925 silver).
