Rosie has a background in dance, choreography, and theatre. Her television career started with her presenting INSTYLE. She now presents and produces inserts for Studio 53, a lifestyle programme. Rosie became a household name after landing a prominent role in GENERATIONS, which she carried for five years. Rosie landed a role in the Academy Award nominated film HOTEL RWANDA, starring Don Cheadle and Nick Nolte. Her second film, The OTHER WOMAN, directed by Cindy Lee, is the first film with Rosie in the leading role. Rosie has also performed in a British production titled WILD AT HEART.

Rosie Motene is considered as one of South Africa's best dressed women. She graced the covers and pages of many South African and international magazines, including Truelove, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Style, Joburg style and Destiny magazine. She also featured in the internationally acclaimed VANITY FAIR MAGAZINE.

Rosie Motene is also renown for her extensive charity work. In 2004, Rosie was appointed Chairperson of Childline, Gauteng, and works closely with a strong management team in spearheading the activities of the organisation.
