This is the 'Beach couple'

My name is Stephen Scott, and you are viewing my original painting, "Beach couple", done with oils on canvas board. The painting was done in the studio from a photo taken on Fishoek beach, Cape Town. The couple wondered down the beach hand in hand, then stood chatting as they pondered the horizon. I wondered to my self "What fantastic journey has brought them here, to this beach, this point in time..." every painting tells a story, but often it's the viewer that knows the details, not the artist...

This painting is 210mm x  260mm and signed. The buyer will receive the painting safely packaged and ready to frame.

A short bit about myself - I grew up living in Pretoria before moving to Cape Town. As a child I always had a pencil in my hand and art was natural for me. Art is my passion. My paintings have sold to mainly South African based patrons while the odd painting has made it as far as Washington DC.
