Yardlong Bean is a subtropical/tropical plant and is widely grown in Southeastern Asia, Thailand and Southern China. It is a very interesting plant to grow - you almost need to check/harvest long beans everyday because they grow very quick in warm climates. Sow seed directly into fertile sandy loam or loam soil with good drainage, cover lightly. Can be harvested in 60 days after sowing. Easy to grow, grow well under full sun and warm to hot heather. Keep well fed and watered during the entire season.
