Bean Bush Borlotti (10 Seeds)

The Borlotti Bush Bean, also know as a few other names like Cranberry Bean, Roman Bean, Gadhra Bean or Rosecoco Bean, is a compact bush bean which produces pink and purple streaked pods of about 12-14cm long.  The bush starts producing at around 50 days, when the bean can be harvested as fresh green beans or leaving the pods to dry on the plant for pretty dried beans, with maroon stripes and speckles on a cream base.

When the beans are cooked, the colours fade away, but the taste and texture of the bean makes up for this.
