The Neckargold Pole Bean, is a beautiful climbing bean variety with yellow-round pods of about 25cm long. This one of the climbing bean vines with a deep rooting system. Sow this bean early in spring, as it needs a long growing season, but it is definitely worth it, as the yield of harvest is extremely high.

What makes the Neckargold Pole Bean even more attractive to plant is that it is resistant to the common mosaic bean virus.

Harvest pods as soon as they start, to encourage the plant to produced more.

Please bare in mind, that this variety is a lovely snack to mice and birds, so take care and cover your seeds after direct sowing, or start it of in a biodegradable planting pot, or even a toilet-roll to prevent the disturbance of the roots at transplant time.
