ANTIQUE 4 STRING BANJO - George Houghton and Sons
Circa estimated early 1900's
Awesome beauty with not too much work required
The banjo was manufactured by George Houghton and sons in Birmingham UK and is estimated to be from the early 1900's.
The banjo is a 4 string and appears to be in great condition. It would require a new head and strings but apart from that it should be perfectly playable.
There are no cracks or any other damage apart from a scratch or two. The neck is solidly attached and the tuners function perfectly.
The original tension key is included, as is an old package with some strings.
The banjo measures 55cm in length. It comes in the original case which is a bit worn but in one piece..
