This is a beautiful handpainted picture of a very pretty fancy lady wearing a large white lace hat with red roses. I was told that it was the Honarable Mrs. Sarah Siddons however I could not find any similar picture while doing research. Not sure if it is painted on ivory, or bone, however there are grains in the background. It is covered with a thick plastic covering which I removed and cleaned. This can be used as a brooch or pendant. Marked Stg.Sil. (sterling silver) it measures 5cm x 4.3cm with frame. Small silver safety chain attached. Comes in vintage 'CIRO OF BOND STREET, LONDON 7 NEW YORK" little case, however it is not the original brooch case. There is a deep scratch on the back of the frame. Weighs 15.6grams. BEAUTIFUL!!!
