On offer is this beautiful antique style telephone. Lovely brass and pewter decoration with a romantic Victorian scene in the centre of the dialler. All enamel and porcelain parts are in perfect condition. There is slight tarnish on the brass parts on the handset. The phone is fitted with a bell control knob on the underside. The base measures 19x15cm and the total height to the top of the handset is 22cm. Weight = 3.5kg. I have not tested this phone but can confirm that the dialler and cradle turn and move up and down as they should and the fact that it is fitted with a Telkom phone plug tells me that it was put to its intended use at some stage.
