In the 1930s and 1940s, she was a respected designer, her designs for decorative and figurative porcelain in the Art Deco style were particularly successful. Elly Strobach was well known and respected in the art world for sophisticated dancers, ladies, and nudes.
Beautiful nude by Elly Strobach "The Bather" for Royal Dux. A young, naked, pretty lady begins to dry herself with a patterned towel after a bath. Her left arm is bent, and she is holding the towel in her right. Typical Art Deco figure on a white-gold base.
