BEAUTIFUL BLUE TOPAZ AND DIAMOND RING. 9ct GOLD. VINTAGE ENGLAND!
This combination of bright blue topaz and diamonds in a cluster design is one of those classic timeless designs that always holds its glamour! This lovely ring features a single brilliant oval cut blue topaz in the centre, which has a really beautiful colour. Its almost aquamarine in hue. The central stone is surrounded by 12 x round cut natural diamonds set in 9ct gold. The topaz and diamonds are claw set in 9ct white gold. The shank of the ring is dainty and narrow - and 9 carat yellow gold. The ring setting presents the head 5 mm above the finger. One of the best features of this beautiful vintage piece is the contrast of colour. The blue is positively startling against the white of the diamond frame and both are framed well by the yellow gold.
The ring bears the hallmarks for 9ct gold (375), the jeweller signature, the date mark for 1987, and the London Assay office.
Diamond is an April birthstone, and is known to stimulate creativity, inventiveness, imagination and ingenuity.
