Beautiful briar - Classic W O LARSEN #46 Made in Copenhagen, Denmark. Estate pipe for repair.

This beautiful W O LARSEN pipe was obviously tragically  damaged while someone was trying to replace the broken stem. The small (repairable) splits indicate the "new" stem was forced into the pipe too soon! The vulcanite stem was apparently new and in the process of being "thinned". There is no other damage to the briar, which appears not to have been smoked very much.

A great opportunity for a pipe restorer, I think. Undamaged, this pipe would be worth in excess of R2000. (Please research eBay)
Bowl height is approximately 2 1/8inches; diameters external 1 1/4 inches, internal 7/8 inch.
