Glorious colour is what strikes you first - this pretty vintage piece features a central oval-cut 4mm wide x 4,5mm amethyst claw set in 9ct white gold raised claws. The central gemstone is flanked by six small round-cut diamonds, also claw set, but on a lower tier. The polished white gold shank is narrow, supporting a ring head that measures 5mm long x 8mm across.  The  piece weighs a dainty 1,1 grams, and the ring size is a 5 3/4 or 'L 1/4' in British or SA sizing. The piece bears the hallmark 375 for 9 ct gold. The colour contrast is really strong, which draws attention to the amethyst.
