CONTEMPORARY DELICATE 44CM LAPIS LAZULI STERLING SILVER NECKLACE WITH DOUBLE LOOP PENDANT. 925 

This delicate 44cm necklace is created in sterling silver, featuring round natural polished lapis lazuli beads set on short lengths of open link chain, ending in a large openwork circle threaded through a smaller matching circle, which has a large, flattened circular lapis lazuli pendant hanging from a double link. The pendant measures 35mm long. The necklace has a dainty feel, but weighs a good 6.74 grams and bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. Lapis lazuli, or Lapis for short, is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense colour - a rich medium to royal blue with gold flecks (pyrites). Its deep, celestial blue remains the symbol of royalty and honour, gods and power, spirit and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth.
