BEAUTIFUL GREEN NATURAL EMERALD STERLING SILVER NECKLACE ON ITALIAN STERLING SILVER CHAIN. 925

Delicate but still big enough to be nice and noticeable, this lovely necklace features a double link pendant. The main section is a natural softly hued emerald that has been faceted into an oval shape and claw set in a sterling silver pear shaped frame finished with an interesting decorative detail and touched with small white stones. This is suspended from a second pear shaped sterling silver pendant section into which a smaller emerald has been similiarly set and displayed. The chain is particularly lovely. It is solid sterling silver and clearly marked for its Italian origin and make. It has unusual sparkle appeal as it has been made out of a series of small round sterling silver tube-like segments that together move and catch the light. It is quite long - 49 cm, which means it hangs 24,5 cm from the back of the neck to where it joins the pendant. The pendant itslef hangs a further 23 mm down and 12 mm wide. Together the piece weighs a little over 4 grams. The emeralds all all natural, creating a particularly lovely piece of jewellery.
