This beautiful sterling silver ring has a ring head featuring a flat mother of pearl diamond shape with well-scalloped edges, bordered by a frame of a single row of matching cubic zirconias. Measuring 18mm long x 16mm wide, the ring head is set on a simple sterling silver shank that forks horizontally on the shoulders, the openwork 'V' providing interest. The ring weighs a hefty 4.2grams, and sits snugly on the finger. (There is a matching necklace available - item 3499).The iridescence of the mother of pearl is particularly appealing in this piece. Interestingly, the inserted mother of pearl segment of the ring is completely flat, ensuring that it sits very snugly on the finger. It also lends an air of quality. It is a new piece but the design is a throwback to historic jewellery design.
