As photographed and I regard in good condition. It says on it
Chinese silk and I did do a burn test on a piece of the woven fibre
and it does smell like burnt human hair which is indicative of silk
It also changes colour if you brush your hand over it or look at it
from different positions (another indicator). Ideal as a wall hanging
piece or table piece. It measures with the fringes approximately length
107cm and the width 30.5cm.
Very precise in the weave. Almost thought machined. Have picked
up a couple of flaws in the weave which machine would never do.
Although the fringes are doubled up and bent over I can pick up
the warp and weft lines and my feeling is hand done.
