A wonderful signed etching titled "Bains Kloof Wellington Cape" by the renowned South African artist Tinus de Jongh (1885-1942) - 25x19cm, unframed.

Tinus was a self-taught artist who spent years in pursuit of developing an individual technique. Tinus is the father of well-known artist Gabriel de Jong who inherited his fatherÂÂÂÂÂs love and passion for art. Tinus became a master in the field of landscape artist and is world renown till this day. Tinus de Jongh passed away on 17 July 1942, fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming one of the most technically skilled painters.
