This a truly rare item. A very old photo frame completely made from ivory. Its carved to look as though the ivory is bark of a tree and is done in great detail with branches stemming out from all sides with no damage to any of these item. It also has a Ivory cartouche with HI i think. Even the backing of this piece and stand is made from Ivory. This piece is old and has that nice Ivory patina. The only damage is that the black plate has a crack from top to bottom but cannot be seen from the front and it will still hold a photo as that slips in from the top. The crack does not detract from this piece as it cannot be seen from the front.

It stands 135mm high and 95mm wide
