GARNET AND OPAL CLUSTER

9ct YELLOW GOLD VINTAGE RING

Very Victorian in style, this estate ring features real iridescent fire opals and natural cognac garnets. There are 6 x opals (0,12 carats) and 13 x garnets (0,42 carats) set into the yellow 9 carat gold. The gemstones are all prong set in a flower cluster design with a garnet in the centre surrounded by round opals and an outer ring of garnets. The ring head sits 7mm high above the finger. The shank of the ring is narrow and solid, and splits into three before reaching the ring head. It's a gorgeous and elegant English piece! With Valentine's Day around the corner, it would make a pretty gift idea. I'll gift wrap it Valentine's style to save you the trouble.

The ring bears the hallmarks for 9ct gold ( 375 ), the Birmingham Assay mark, the jeweller signature, and the date mark for 1987.
