Beautiful Vintage Wood & Brass Cased Knife & Fork Carving Set

This early, very good quality cased carving set has been very well made. The case and handles of the knife & fork have been hand made and beautifully hand carved with numerous maple leaves. All the fittings, catches and feet are also hand made from solid brass. Both the knife and fork fit securely in the case and are released by thumb pressure on the brass catch and when replaced they both click into place. The set is in lovely condition and would make a lovely gift. The cased carving set measures 44cm in length, has a height of 6.5cm, a width of 7cm and weighs 555g. The knife measures 31cm and the fork measures 28cm.
