This painting was painted by a talented soldier in the trenches during the war on a piece of metal he found. This painting has seen a very interesting History and is quite old as it is dated 1941 in the middle of World War 2. The paint in the top right corner has peeled abit which is expected from old paintings especially ones done on a metal backing. This painting depicts The Royal H.M.S. Battle Ship King George The Fifth andone of the planes escorting it flying over head. Measurements : 74.2cm x 30.4cm.
