I got these as a present in 1953, when I was 10. Judging from their pristine condition I was clearly beyond the age of playing with cars. The Bedford is still in its original box. The car does not have its own box but both come in a Land Rover outer for some reason. The booklet is included. All in good condition. The Estate Car has slight wear on close inspection but the Bedford is close to mint in my opinion.
A U.K. source on the internet recently gave me a value of 80 pounds sterling, the lot. The current exchange rate gives me a market value of R1040. I have discounted this for the starting price which seems to be competitive judging from similar items on offer.
