Before I Am is not just a book, its more like a mirror for the heart. Mooji presents the teachings of Advaita Vedanta in a way that feels direct, simple, and deeply alive. Instead of overwhelming the reader with philosophy, he points again and again to the pure awareness that exists before thoughts, before identity, before the I that we habitually cling to.

What I found most powerful is that this is not a book to be read quickly. Its a book to sit with, to return to, to let the words dissolve into silence. Each passage feels like a meditation in itselfsometimes confronting, but always compassionate.
