ILLUMINATION BEGONIA SEEDS - Begonia tuberhybrida

These cascading plants are the showiest Begonias. Easily one of the best tuberous begonia series for hanging baskets, 'Illumination' begonias feature large, showy, semi-double and fully double flowers on heat tolerant, easy to grow, cascading plants. The tubers can be harvested at the end of the season for use the following year. Prefers filtered shade and moist soil. These seeds are challenging to germinate. We do e-mail growing info sheets to buyers.

Sow seed in seedling trays, press into soil but do not cover. Light aids germination. Kept at 26° C.,germination is in14-60 days. Transplant into the garden 30 to 45 cm apart.
