Ideal for project studios, MIDI recording, live sound, video post and fixed installations, the MX2004A 4-bus mixer has 20 channels (8 mono, 4 stereo and 2 stereo effects returns that double as extra channels); 3-band EQ with swept mids on the mono channels and 4-band fixed EQ on the stereo channels.

The MX2004A uses Behringer's proprietary Ultra-Low Noise circuitry with high-grade 4580 op amps to keep noise and crosstalk to an absolute minimum. Its high-gain mic preamps (5 Hz to 100 kHz) provide maximum headroom. A discriminating low cut filter virtually eliminates stage rumble, mic handling "thumps" and other unwanted low frequency information. For more mixing flexibility and accuracy, the MX2004A includes 60 mm ultra-smooth, logarithmic-taper Panasonic faders (not pots) on all input channels; 2 Aux sends, one with individual pre/post switch; 2 stereo effects returns; Peak, Mute and Solo LEDs and Alt 3-4 bus with fader, independent Control Room/Headphone outputs; balanced XLR inputs on gold-plated connectors and more.
