Heritage
Arthur Bell started as a salesman for a wine and spirit merchant,
but he soon realised the tremendous opportunity that blending held.
In 1825, Perth-based Arthur Bell & Sons produced the first Bell's. He
quickly recognised the potential of blending malts and grain whiskies
and boldly vatted together superior single malts instead of bottling them
separately as was the custom. By meticulously selecting the best whiskies
for his blend, the great whisky baron forged a product far superior to the individual parts "Bell's Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky".
Tasting Notes
Colour: Attractive, natural, golden.
Nose: Spicy, complex.
Taste: Slightly sweet and nutty with a characteristically spicy taste.
