Rubicon's BEN & IZZY a state-of-the-art CGI animation series (for ages 6-11) that follows the adventures of two kids: one from Jordan and one from the United States, who one day stumble upon a tomb, releasing the spirited genie YASMINE (Lucy Liu). Through Yasmine's powers and her determination to save the world's precious heritage; the three are instantly whisked away from the present day dig site on a miraculous journey back in time to Petra in the year of the very first visit made by Mark Twain in 1867. Like Raiders Of The Lost Ark, many perilous journeys await Ben & Izzy and, while adventuring through time and place, learning about the past and its value, they also grow to appreciate each other and their respective cultures. The lesson from each episode is that "ultimately we don't have to be alike to get along!"
