The BenQ FP93G X employs the exclusive Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) technology that accelerates the rotational speed of liquid crystals in the screen panel by increasing the voltage, making it possible to shorten the gray-to-gray response time to 2ms.
Typical response time (black-to-white or on/off) for LCD monitors refers to the time that it takes a pixel to change from white to black (or equivalently, black to white). Most real-world applications (such as gaming or movie) however utilize colors in different levels of gray. That's why even if the reaction time of white to black (on/off) is fast; it doesn't guarantee a fast reaction time on games or moving images. The gray-to-gray response times are more indicative of real world performance, where the response time is a measure of how quickly a pixel can change from one shade of gray to another, and back. By using AMA technology, the gray-to-gray response times across all color scales will be greatly reduced and able to ensure crystal clear images for the most demanding video applications. 
With a 700:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 of brightness, the FP93G X delivers the most richly detailed images and legible text even in brightly lit environments.
