THE WORD SNACKWICH WAS COPYRIGHT REGISTERED IN AUSTRALIA BY BERDA IN 1981 AND THE COMPANY HAS SINCE NOT RE-REGISTERED THE WORD AS A TRADEMARK. TODAY A BRANCH OF BERDA IS KNOWN TO EXIST IN SOUTH AFRICA.

THE ITEM HAS A SILVER METAL (STAINLESS ?) BODY WITH BLACK BAKELITE FEET AND HANDLES. THE TWO HANDLES ARE SECURED TO EACH OTHER WHEN THE ITEM IS IN USE BY MEANS OF A SILVER METAL CLIP
