This Art Nouveau style solid brass buckle is a genuine Bergamot Brass
Works (BBW) belt buckle, given to the present owner in the late 1970's
as a present from America.

BBW Catalogue Item number I-48.

The buckle has a diameter of 55 mm with a moveable connection for the
belt and a solid brass hook. The usual minor marking on the surface
from wearing the buckle and residue from past polishing on the rear.
The Bergamot Brass Works trademark is set within a small raised 10 mm
dia circle placed centrally on the rear face of the buckle.

Bergamot Brass Works (BBW) had its beginnings in Fox River Grove,
Illinois in September, 1970. Over the years the company expanded to be
considered the premier Art Foundry in the world. Located in Delavan
Wisconsin, United States of America, the factory now encompasses
