Bernina 840 Favorit industrial sewing machine

Mother in law's machine - she bought it new and just about never used it as you can see in the photographic evidence. Now its the wife's and we just dont have room to hang onto sentimental items anymore.

Solid machine with an all metal sturdy contruction weighing around 12kg. Very good quality and gently used machine good for button holes, darning, cording, overlock, blind hem. The machine was serviced and as you an see its basically pristine - no noticable scratches/marks/wear patches - all the labels are clear and legible and no plastic bits have been broken off the knobs - the chrome bits are all still shiny and as new.

When MIL died we never got all the loose bits that goes with the machine - we do not have the table or workbench, only the little portable mounting wooden mounting stand. There is a presser foot and needle with a complete presser plate assembly as well as a bottom bobbin so the machine works as is. The foot control and control cable is also in good condition.

If you are serious about using a sewing machine all day long, this is probably a good choice - what you see will be exactly what you get - no BS.
