BESTECH Knives Horus Flipper Knife - BT1901C
The BESTECH Knives Horus Flipper Knife - BT1901C is a mid-size flipper that combines a light touch with a lot of style. The 3.54" clip point blade is made from high-quality CPM-S35VN stainless steel, featuring a satin and black stonewash two-tone finish.
The carbon fiber inlaid titanium handles of the BESTECH Knives Horus are lightweight and provide a solid grip with their ergonomic shape. The handle includes a finger groove, further enhancing your grip. The flipping action is exceptionally smooth, thanks to the ball bearing system in the pivot, allowing this knife to deploy with barely a thought.
Additionally, the knife comes with a titanium pocket clip for easy carry in your pocket.
About CPM-S35VN Stainless Steel
CPM-S35VN is martensitic stainless steel designed to offer improved toughness over CPM-S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM-S30V. Its chemistry has been rebalanced to form niobium carbides alongside vanadium and chromium carbides.
Substituting niobium carbides for some of the vanadium carbides makes CPM-S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM-S30V without any loss of wear resistance. The improved toughness of CPM-S35VN provides better resistance to edge chipping. Additionally, both vanadium and niobium carbides are harder and more effective than chromium carbides in providing wear resistance, resulting in improved edge retention over conventional high chromium steels such as 440C and D2.
