Beswick Beatrix Potter 'Old Mr. Brown' Character Jug 

This cute, hand painted Beswick character jug in the form of an owl, is 'Old Mr. Brown', with his friend 'Squirrel Nutkin' making up the handle. The characters are from the Beatrix Potter storybook. This jug was modelled by 'Graham Tongue' and was in production for a short period, between 1987 and 1992. It is in excellent condition and has the Beatrix Potter backstamp with the addition of the 'John Beswick' signature. The jug stands 6,5cm high, with a spout to handle measurement of 7,7cm.
