From the dustjacket flap: Rhodesia is still a young country. Some of the Pioneers who have personally experienced and taken part in the opening up of Rhodesia are still alive today. Many tales about this period are in circulation today; tales that rest partly upon fiction and partly on fact. It is a pity that with the passing of each pioneer the chance of ascertaining the truth of or amplifying the tales becomes more remote or falls away. It is for this reason that Basil Fuller sought personal contact with these "Old timers" on his travels through Rhodesia and persuaded them to talk about their own experiences. In the fifteen chapters of this book the author relates many adventures which were personally experienced by these pioneers and are therefore resting on fact. "Bid Time Return" therefore renders a piece of living history of Rhodesia.
