The jacket is worn and marked, with chips and short tears to edges, and a large piece missing from the front top edge, and is now protected in cellophane. Foxed endpapers, and external page edges, with ink stamps of a previous owner on the first endpaper and title page. 6 colour illustrations by Leslie Stead present, as called for.
