About Bilene Club Lodge
Bilene Club Lodge is a mere 25 metres from the saline waters of Lake Uembje. Praia de Bilene, previously known as San Martino in the days of the Portuguese regime, boasts white sandy beaches and azure tropical waters that blend seamlessly into the horizon.
Bilene Club Lodge is the perfect place to unwind and escape from the stresses and strains of life. The lodge is set in one of the most picturesque areas in Mozambique - Bilene has unspoilt beaches with panoramic views that will take your breath away.
The resort is situated approximately 180 km north of Maputo on a magnificent lake estuary system spanning 15 km, offering a tranquil beach environment with balmy sea water. It is a short boat trip to the mouth of the lake, taking you into the sea where abundant fishing exists. The village offers numerous restaurants, bars, a bakery, a local market, and shops where very basic products can be purchased. Petrol and diesel are both available.
With the tranquil lake glistening in the sun, guests can enjoy safe bathing all year round, as well as pleasant strolls down the endless, sun-drenched beaches. Bilene Club Lodge is perfect for an excellent Mozambique family getaway.
