Simply plug the adaptor into any wall power socket, using your home's existing electrical wiring to create or extend a network. Compliant with the IEEE1901 & HomePlug AV standards, which support high speeds of up to 500Mbps, the BiPAC 2075 enables seamless high–definition media streaming, intense online gaming, and jitter–free VoIP calling throughout your home. Another unique feature is supporting superior and noise–immune data transmission over electrical wire. Even at the moment your family turns on or off any other electronic device, you won't experience any interruption to latency–sensitive applications such as multimedia or video being shared with your family in another room.
Description
The BiPAC 2075 transmits bandwidth intensive data easily and securely over the existing electrical wiring – without installation effort. It is also ideal for homes or small offices where concrete walls, successive floors in multi–storied buildings could inhibit a wireless signal. With increased speeds of up to 500Mbps and utilizing QoS technology, BiPAC 2075 is ideal for streaming HD video, intense online gaming, and VoIP calling. Quality of Service (QoS) control guarantees the transmission quality by automatically prioritizing data. The BiPAC 2075 automatically recognizes the bandwidth needs of voice and video applications. QoS prioritizes the data to guarantee optimal transmission quality. TV and video images are received and displayed with absolute smoothness. QoS also guarantees the clear, instant reproduction of voice data, even when other applications are running on the network at the same time. With the Smart Power Saving feature, the BiPAC 2075 can automatically detect its Ethernet connection. When the Ethernet–based device is powered down or disconnected, the BiPAC 2075 adapter will automatically fall into sleep mode, which reduces power consumption significantly.
