The blade is made from sandvik 12c27 stainless steel. It is tempered to between 55-57 Rockwell hardness, so your blade stay sharp even after cutting a lot of pieces. The Biltong Bandit is 19 cm long, about 4.5 cm high and approx. 2,3cm wide. It is perfect to carry in your pocket. Finally a portable biltong cutter. The cutting edge is 6cm long thus cutting a piece 6cm wide. That is a nice big piece. It cuts biltong so easy that my son of 5 years can cut a piece. Now anyone can cut biltong.
